St Patrick’s Day is over and it’s time to get ready for Easter! Focused on a few key places, the leprechauns will turn to bunnies! Just like my other blogs for Valentine’s Day and St Patrick’s Day, we will add new but recycle some of what we already have.
Transition the focus areas to Easter
Easter is everywhere and it’s easy to go out and buy all new things, but make sure you inventory what you already have. Last year I realized I had 3 Easter trees after I bought my fourth! As before I will focus on a couple of areas that you see every day to add my Easter touches to. Those spots are the coffee station, the kitchen island tray, the kitchen table centerpiece, and of course the front door.
the coffee station
Just switching out a coffee mug makes a huge difference, but add a couple of inexpensive knick knacks and you have a completely different coffee station.
The kitchen Island
I keep the same tray and just change the pieces sitting in it. The yellow vase comes back along with a bunny figurine and a bunny candy bowl.
The Kitchen table Centerpiece
The potted greenery (a Christmas clearance item) lives on for round 3! With the help of some egg ornaments, it becomes an Easter tree! The gnome turns into a wood bunny. Want some gnome tree decorations? Check out these cute ones from Amazon.
The wreath is exactly the same with a different center piece connected with wire. It doesn’t get much easier than that!
Additional Easter by the front front door
The lantern is the same from previous holidays but this time it’s filled with plastic painted eggs. The “egg” plant is from Hobby Lobby and fits perfectly on the pedastal!
